FTMTA members have been circulated with details of the FTMTA Pro Dealer Management Development Programme aimed at owner / managers or dealer principals within the retail dealership element of the farm machinery industry. The purpose of the FTMTA Pro Dealer Management Development Programme is to build an enduring, high performance, owner managed agricultural machinery dealership.

The course includes nine modules covering material needed to develop as an effective manager of a dealership and consists of 12 full days of tuition which will be delivered at the FTMTA Farm Machinery Training centre in Naas over dates from April to December.

The course was designed and will be presented by Gerry O’Brien of Performance Matters. Gerry is a qualified accountant with a Masters degree in IT and has an in-depth knowledge of the industry having worked as a consultant with a number of farm machinery businesses over the past decade.
