Apprenticeship: Arboriculture L6
On completion of this two-year apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified arborist, with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Arboriculture.
You may then choose to work as an arborist in the arboriculture industry.
You may also use the qualification to progress within the sector and/or to higher education programmes.
The role of the arborist involves managing trees, hedgerows and shrubs in both urban and rural settings and providing information and advice on specific tree related issues. As an arborist, you will be carrying out tasks such as the felling, pruning, thinning, preserving and protection of trees using a range of equipment.

Apprenticeship: Manufacturing Engineering L7
On completion of this three year apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified manufacturing engineer, with a QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering.
You may then choose to work as a manufacturing engineer in the manufacturing industry across sectors such as Pharma, Med-tech, engineering and food.

Apprenticeship: Construction Plant Fitting L6
With this four-year apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified construction plant fitter, with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Construction Plant Fitting.
You may then choose to either work as a construction plant fitter in the construction and engineering industries.
Many apprentices use their apprenticeship qualification as a platform to launch careers such as engineers, managers, self-employed business owners, technical trainers, instructors, lecturers, teachers amongst others.

With this four-year apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified heavy vehicle mechanic, with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
You may then choose to work as a heavy vehicle mechanic in road haulage companies in the commercial motor industry.

Apprenticeship: Vehicle Body Repairs L6
With this four-year apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified vehicle body repairer, with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Vehicle Body Repairs.
You may then choose to work as a vehicle body repairer in the motor industry, in garages with vehicle repair facilities and in ‘specialised’ repair shops.

Apprenticeship: Logistics Associate L6
On completion of this two-year apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified logistics associate, with a QQI Level 6 Higher Certificate in Logistics. You may then choose to work in a number of roles including as a logistician, freight forwarder, distribution manager, inventory manager, process engineer, supply chain manager, shipping agent, transport manager or warehouse manager.
Logistic associates are required in a range of industries from freight, distribution, haulage, warehousing and shipping.

Are you a qualified electrician and want to take your skills further? If you want to advance your career, the Industrial Electrical Engineer Apprenticeship is what you need.
On completion of this two-year apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified industrial electrical engineer, with a QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Electrical Engineering.
