New FTMTA Officers Elected

The October meeting of the FTMTA Executive Council elected a new officer panel to take office from January 1st:

FTMTA President – Mr. Conor Breen of Breen’s Farm Machinery Ltd.

Vice Presidents – Mr. Donal Fitzpatrick of J.H. Fitzpatrick Ltd. and Mr. Graham McHugh of McHugh Components Ltd. 

Honorary Secretary – Mr. Maurice Kelly of Kellys of Borris Ltd.

Honorary Treasurer – Mr. James Larkin of Larkins (Dublin) Ltd.

The current FTMTA President, Mr. Garry Daly, expressed his confidence in the new officers and his belief that they are a group with the skills to drive the Association forward.

FTMTA National Conference

The FTMTA National Conference for 2012 will be held in Portlaoise on Thursday, November 29th. Full details in relation to the conference have been issued to member firms. The conference is open to all active in farm machinery sector.

Show Closing Date Imminent

The closing date for receipt of completed applications in relation to exhibitor space at the upcoming FTMTA Farm Machinery Show is fast approaching on November 2nd.

There is a very strong demand for space, both from new and previous exhibitors, and, to avoid disappointment, prospective exhibitors should ensure that their completed application is received before the closing date.

The FTMTA Farm Machinery Show takes place at Punchestown Event Centre on February 7th, 8th and 9th and will be the premier Irish farm machinery event of 2013.
