Farm Machinery Industry Training Centre (FMITC)

The FTMTA Farm Machinery Industry Training Centre (FMITC)  has had a busy start to 2014 with a number of training events already been held in January and a number of other training events already booked for the coming months.

The primary purpose for the training centre is to provide a local facility for the technical and commercial training delivered by machinery manufacturers and distributors to personnel from their dealer networks. Prior to the building of the FMITC much of this training was conducted at the manufacturers’ own premises in the UK which put additional burdens in terms of cost and time on the Irish dealers when sending staff for training. The centre has also been used by various manufacturers for operator training for their end customers.
