New FTMTA Officers Elected
The October meeting of the FTMTA Executive Council elected a new President and Vice President of the Association to take office from January 1st, 2017.
The new FTMTA President will be Mr. Graham McHugh of McHugh Components Ltd and Mr. James Butler of Templetuohy Farm Machinery Ltd will serve as Vice President.
Graham McHugh is joint managing director with his brother David, of McHugh Components, formerly McHugh & Kramp, which was established in 1973 by their late father Mr. Seamus McHugh. Graham and David, together with their brother Derek as Financial Director and Company Secretary, now lead a staff of over 50 people in a business which is known as a leading supplier of components to the agricultural and allied trades in Ireland. Graham McHugh will be the first FTMTA President from a purely parts business and as such he is sure to bring an interesting perspective to the role.
The current FTMTA President, Mr. Donal Fitzpatrick remains in office until the end of the year and expressed his confidence in the newly chosen officers.
