Maize Open Day,
The Samco Bag-Press and Samco Field-Lift machines will be demonstrated at a Maize Open Day being held by Shines Agri at the Samco premises near Adare, Co. Limerick, on Tuesday, September 30th, at 12.00 .

Topics to be discussed on the day include 19 film types, 22 maize seed varieties, 13 new herbicide mixtures, the economics of growing maize and ground preparation / fertility. Dr. Bridget Lynch, lecturer in the School of Agriculture & Food Science at UCD, will be the guest speaker on the day. Light refreshments, including pig on a spit, will be provided and there will be a draw for seed, film and herbicide for 5 acres.
