FTMTA Centenary Gala Dinner Dance – October 18th, 2013
The Farm Tractor & Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) is marking the centenary of an organised agricultural machinery industry group in Ireland during 2013. The body to which the Association traces its origins, the Implement Merchants Association of Ireland, held its first public meeting at the Dublin Spring Show in May of 1913.
To celebrate the centenary and to mark the contribution made by the agricultural machinery sector to the development of Irish agriculture, the Executive Council of the Association have decided to hold a gala dinner dance at the Heritage Resort, Killenard, Co. Laois on Friday, October 18th.

FTMTA Golfing Society
The Autumn outing of the FTMTA Golfing Society will take place in conjunction with the FTMTA Centenary Gala on October 18th at the magnificent Seve Ballesteros designed championship golf course at The Heritage Golf Club, Killenard, Co. Laois. Tee times will be between 9.00am and 11.00am – October 18th, 2013
The outing is supported by the generous sponsorship of the Irish Farmers Journal towards the prizes. The current captain of the FTMTA Golfing Society, Mr. Michael McCarthy, of Lynch & McCarthy Ltd., hopes for a good turnout at the outing on what is a very special day for FTMTA.
